This Privacy Policy explains how Fist Strike, the team responsible for publishing and maintaining Fist Strike VR (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information in connection with Fist Strike VR (the “App”), a virtual reality boxing and fitness application for Meta Quest devices.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

Fist Strike VR is designed to work without a separate account system and without our own online service. We do not operate backend servers for the App, and we do not sell, rent, or share personal information.

The App stores gameplay, training, settings, and progress data locally on the Meta Quest device so the App can function and remember your preferences.

2. Information We Collect or Store

The App does not require users to create an account, and we do not provide a separate user login system.

The App does not upload personally identifiable information to our servers. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information.

The App may store the following data locally on the user’s device:

• App settings, such as language, audio volume, display preferences, comfort settings, and other in-app preferences;
• Training-related settings, such as target height, body-related settings used for fitness estimates, gameplay preferences, calibration values, and tutorial completion status;
• Local training statistics, such as workout sessions, scores, estimated calories, training duration, combo/progress information, and achievement or course progress;
• Local cache data required for the App to function properly;
• Locally selected content metadata or cache, if you use App features that let you choose local media or customize the experience.

This data is stored only on the current device. It is not uploaded to our servers.

3. Device-Level Data

The App currently uses device-level local data storage. This means that training statistics, settings, and progress are tied to the current device storage and may be visible to other people who use the same Meta Quest device or device profile.

The App does not currently provide separate Meta user-level profiles, cloud-synced user data, or account-based data separation.

4. VR Device Data and Tracking

The App uses standard Meta Quest and Unity XR functionality to run a VR boxing experience. During gameplay, the App may process device-provided headset, controller, or hand-position information in real time so it can render the scene, detect hits, and support interaction.

This real-time tracking data is used on the device for gameplay and is not uploaded to our servers by the App.

The App does not use the microphone, camera, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers for our own data collection.

The App may use Meta Quest platform services to verify app entitlement and ownership during startup. If app entitlement or ownership cannot be verified, the App may show an error message and close or restrict access to the App. This verification is handled through Meta platform services and is subject to Meta’s own terms and privacy policies. We do not use entitlement checks to upload training records or fitness data to our servers.

Meta Quest platform services, device-level account features, store services, and operating-system features are governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy policies.

5. How We Use Local Data

Local data is used only to:

• Save App settings and preferences;
• Restore local training progress;
• Display local training statistics;
• Provide calibration, tutorial, course, and gameplay features;
• Provide local fitness-related estimates, such as estimated calories;
• Improve the in-app experience on the current device;
• Keep the App functioning correctly.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share users’ personal data.

The App does not currently use third-party advertising, third-party analytics, or third-party account login services.

If we add third-party services in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain those services and any related data practices.

7. Data Deletion

Because the App stores data locally on the device, users can delete local App data by:

• Clearing the App’s data from the Meta Quest system settings; or
• Uninstalling the App from the device.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Health and Fitness Data

The App may display local fitness-related estimates, such as workout duration or estimated calories, for gameplay and training feedback. These values are estimates only, are stored locally if saved as part of training statistics, and are not medical advice.

The App stores data locally on the user’s device. We use reasonable measures to avoid unnecessary collection of personal data. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
